Refund Policy

Effective date: 12 July 2026

This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, failed payments, and partner-platform payments are handled by Mileserve Cafe.

Online payment refunds

If an online payment is debited but the order is not confirmed in our system, please contact us with the payment reference and order details. We will verify the transaction with the payment gateway.

Eligible refunds for failed or duplicate online payments will be initiated through the original payment method, subject to payment gateway and bank processing timelines.

Order cancellation refunds

If an order is cancelled before preparation starts and payment has already been received, the amount may be eligible for refund after verification.

Once food or beverages are prepared, packed, served, or dispatched, refunds may not be available unless there is a proven service or fulfilment issue.

Cash orders

Cash orders are not considered paid until the admin team approves the cash payment. If a cash order is not approved, no online refund is applicable.

Any cash refund or adjustment, if applicable, will be handled directly at the outlet or through the support process communicated by the cafe team.

Zomato and Swiggy orders

For orders paid on Zomato, Swiggy, or another partner platform, the refund request and refund processing usually follow that partner platform's policies and support workflow.

If a partner platform requests order status or cancellation confirmation from us, we will verify the order in our system and respond according to the integration process.

Refund timeline

After approval, online refunds are generally initiated within 5 to 7 working days. Final credit timelines depend on the payment gateway, card network, bank, wallet, or UPI provider.

Refunds may be rejected if the order was fulfilled correctly, if incorrect details were provided by the customer, or if the claim cannot be verified.
